Nursery Practitoner
42.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday, All year round
Cherrygrove Nursery is a warm and welcoming setting located in High Wycombe, just a short distance from the town center and with easy access to the M40. Rated Good by Ofsted, the nursery offers three age-specific rooms, each with its own garden area, where children can explore and enjoy the outdoors.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Room Leader to join our team. This full-time position offers 42.5 hours per week, with flexible shift patterns between the nursery’s operating hours of 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM. As the nursery operates year-round, this is not a term-time only role. The salary for this position is up to £28,752.10 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

We value the dedication and expertise of our Level 3 Practitioners. To show our appreication for their (and hopefully your) hard work and commitment, we're excited to offer a £400 Qualfiication Recognition Bonus to all our Level 3 Practitioners across all our Nurseries. This bonus will be paid after just 6 months of service, making it the perfect time to join our team and be recognised for your qualifciation and contributions. This bonus is based on a 40-hour week.
As Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Ensure that each child’s individual needs are met and a high standard of professional care and education is delivered in a caring, safe and secure environment in which all children can play, learn and develop
- Observe, assess and plan an interesting, stimulating and challenging range of early years activities which supports each child’s individual learning and development needs and abilities
- Engage as a professional member of the team, exhibiting a flexible attitude and willingness to develop new skills
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are read, applied, reviewed regularly and adhered to by all
- Follow risk assessments diligently and report all health and safety matters to management
- Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
