Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship - Level 5 - Hopton School House Playgroup
Shoots Training are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Hopton School House Playgroup, as a Nursery Manager for an immediate start or September 2025 ready for the start of the academic year.
Hopton School House playgroup is in a 300 year old building and has 20 children, is very personal, homely and friendly
We consist of 2 rooms, a playroom and a craft room
We also have use of a kitchen, office and meeting rooms
Qualities Required:
- We are looking for a person to take on the role of Manager to join our lovely team and to oversee the day to day running of this very busy setting.
- Having a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework, safeguarding, policies and procedures and be aware of changes in practice when they arise are essential for this role. 2 years minimum experience required.
- Qualified at NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development or above is essential
- Have a good understanding of SEN
- Confidence with IT is a must.
Your roles and responsibilities will include;
- To be passionate about early years education and care and can also demonstrate a clear love for working with children from age 2 years 6 months to 4 years old. They will need to be able to plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities that nurture learning and creativity in a safe and inspiring environment, observe, assess and track children’s individual progress and support children’s social, emotional and personal development.
- Helping ALL children thrive through play and have lots of fun whilst doing it.
- You will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be confident in liaising with children’s families and all staff/visitors at the setting.
Hours;
- Hopton School House Playgroup are open between the hours of 07.30-18.00 Monday-Friday
- Term Time Only
- Working hours will be a minimum of 35 hours per week and shifts patterns will be discussed
Requirements;
- GCSE’s A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills
- Must be able to obtain clear DBS
