Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship - Playhouse Day Nursery

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Playhouse Day Nursery at their Hanwell setting

The team is headed by Mrs Priti Patel who has extensive experience and gained an Early Years Teacher Status recently. The Deputy Manager supports the manager, and we have an enthusiastic team of NVQ Level 3 qualified staff.

Children are encouraged to explore all areas, which offer a variety of experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, offering best of early education. We have a reasonable sized secured outdoor play area, which offers the children opportunity to learn and have fun outdoors.

The Nursery operates by its ethos of ‘Play, Learn, Create, Engage, Develop and Grow’ which encourages children to combine both structured learning experiences and their natural inclination to play, explore and question, to develop into young boys and girls, ready for the challenges that growing up will bring.

At Playhouse day Nursery, we provide your child a happy, warm, stimulating and secure learning environment. We aim to meet the individual needs of our children, giving them the social skills and confidence they need in their formative years and provide them with a sound platform for transition into school life.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• To be enthusiastic
• Help implement and plan the day’s activities
• Good knowledge of the EYFS
• Someone who is good at forward planning
• Undertake all aspects of personal car
• Assist at mealtimes
• General housekeeping duties
• Will work towards becoming a nursery practitioner
• Update the parents on the progress of the children
• Someone who can work well in a team environment

Requirements;

• Level 2 Childcare Qualification is beneficial or must have experience in a similar role
• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent 

Hours;

• Playhouse Day Nursery is open from 8.00am - 18:00pm Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work  25 hours per week with shift patterns to be discussed
