Nursery Manager

We are looking for a full time Nursery Manager for our busy Ormesby setting.

As a Manager, you will be responsible for the overall running of the setting and the welfare of the team as a whole. This includes, but is not limited to the below:

• Empowering the team to deliver rich learning opportunities for all children by constantly creating unique and exciting activities.

• Ensuring all staff are fully aware of their responsibilities and are carrying out their role in line with all policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

• Fully managing the overall day to day operation of the nursery.

• Ensuring that the nursery is operating effectively by achieving high occupancy and controlling costs.

• Deploying staff appropriately and working closely with the Senior Management team.

In order to be successful in your application you would require the following experience/qualifications:

• At least 12 months experience working at Senior Level.

• At least a Level 3 qualification.

• An thorough, detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted.

• An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families.

• Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.

• The ability to demonstrate multi agency working and experience of leading staff meetings.
