Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship - Maybury Montessori

Shoots Training are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Maybury Montessori as a Level 3 Apprentice to work in our room with our children who are over 2 years old.

Maybury Montessori is designed to feel as much like home as possible for our children aged 6 months to 4 years. Our teachers are a dedicated team who are passionate about what they do, their main aim being to give each child confidence and a love of learning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating a safe nurturing environment for children.
• Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians and sharing information about children’s development and well-being.
• Observe and assess children’s development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans.
• Support children’s personal care needs.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming setting  
• Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoors.
• Attending staff meetings
• Follow Montessori ethos

Requirements;

• Level 2 Childcare Qualification is essential
• Experience of working with children who are over 2 years old
• You must be able to obtain a clear DBS 
• You ideally will have GCSE Grades A*-C in English and; Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills.

• You will be required to work 30 hours per week over 3 days
