Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 3 -Happy Feet Nursery and Preschool, Westbourne.

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Happy Feet Nursery and Preschool, Westbourne as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.

Westbourne is one of the most vibrant, family-friendly areas, known for its independent spirit, fantastic cafes, and just a short stroll from the beach. It’s a place where families naturally gravitate, and I’ve seen first-hand how strong the demand for exceptional childcare is in this community.

From the moment you step inside, you can feel a sense of warmth. The stunning stained-glass windows create a breath-taking atmosphere, with the sunlight dancing through the colours, filling the space with a natural glow. It’s a space that inspires curiosity and creativity, and we’ve embraced that in every part of our design. Like our Wimborne nursery, we’ve kept the space open, airy, and adaptable, allowing us to create a dynamic environment that can evolve with the children’s needs. Traditional nurseries often feel fixed, but here, we have the freedom to transform the space, making every day a new adventure. We’ve also carefully preserved the essence of the building’s history, ensuring it retains its character while feeling fresh, modern, and most importantly, it feels like home.

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team at a fantastic setting.

Your roles and responsibilities would include:

• Support key members in daily care of children
• Be hands on learning the role
• Be involved in the day today running of the nursery
• Supporting with toileting, food prep all aspects of personal care
• This is a new small team that are growing, in time, your tasks will develop and they will with more confidence, be  liaising parents, be involved in planning and implementing activities, as they learn into the role the online journey, parental, as they grow in skills and competency.

Requirements:

• You must be able to obtain a clear DBS
• GCSE – English and Maths C/4 or above/ Functional Skills 

Qualities Required;

• To be a team player and can work independently
• Have a love of play, reading

Hours:

• Happy Feet Nursery and Preschool are open from 08:00-18:00 Monday to Friday, all year round
• The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
