We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our friendly team at Mama Bear’s Day Nursery, Paignton. Our nursery is located on Long Road and is a lovely purpose-built facility offering outstanding childcare for all families in Paignton and the surrounding area.  Children are cared for in three well-resourced rooms and are able to free-flow between the light and spacious rooms and the lovely outdoor area.

 As Deputy Manager, you will join the leadership team and support with the management of the nursery where you will lead a team of dedicated staff, ensuring the highest standard and quality of care.

To be considered for the role, you must demonstrate the following:

• Previous supervisory experience within an Early Years Setting
• Hold a Full and Relevant Level 3 Early Years Qualification as a minimum
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
• Strong leadership skills
• Knowledge of Ofsted standards, Health & Safety and Child Protection Legislation
