The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a passionate, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Nemo’s Nursery as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.

Nemo’s cares for children between three months and five years. Our beautiful nursery is set in a large Victorian house. You will feel at ease from the moment you step through our door. Our friendly staff will be there to greet you and your child with a warm smile and lots of learning and adventures every day.

Our nursery is split into different age groups. Our baby rooms and 2-5 years rooms will give children everything they need to grow, learn and develop in a safe and fun environment in their own individual way. Rest assured your child will always receive the care and attention they deserve.

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Childcare apprenticeship within a fantastic setting, learning from experienced childcare professionals.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
• Planning and delivering engaging activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observing and assessing children’s development and progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Building strong relationships with parents and caregivers, facilitating open communication about their child's development.
• Working collaboratively with your colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
• Ensuring compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices.

Qualities required;

• The ideal candidate will need to be a great team player, confident and outgoing and must be willing to carry out a variety of tasks, as well as be enthusiastic and willing to learn.
• You must also be imaginative, creative and be committed to a career within Childcare

Hours;

• The nursery is open between the hours of 08:30-17:30 Monday-Friday.
• The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and be flexible with working shift patterns.

Requirements;

• A level 2 Childcare Qualification is required when applying for this role.
• You must be able to gain a clear DBS.
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
• If unqualified, candidate must have 12 months experience in a childcare setting.
