Lunch-Time Supervisor (Unqualified)

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Lunchtime Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and smooth lunchtime experience for the children in our nursery. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist children during lunchtime, ensuring a positive mealtime experience.

• Encourage good table manners and promote healthy eating habits.

• Support children with feeding where necessary.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining and play areas.

• Engage children in quiet activities after lunch, such as storytelling or calm play.

• Follow health and safety policies, including allergy awareness and first aid procedures.

• Work collaboratively with nursery staff to ensure a nurturing and supportive environment.

Requirements:

• A passion for working with young children.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, kindness, and a caring attitude.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Knowledge of basic food hygiene and safeguarding (training can be provided).

• Previous experience in a childcare or school setting (desirable but not essential).
