The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at Diamond Preschool in Slough

The preschool was set up to fulfil the demands of the local community. High quality childcare according to the ratio set by the government. We are equipped with the most advanced resources to enhance your child every step of the way and are continually looking for more resources to cater for each individual child.

Our aim is to offer high standards of professional care for children. Providing for each child’s social, physical, cultural and psychological needs while ensuring a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children to encourage interest and develop curiosity.

To give each child opportunities to interact and co-operate with both adults and children by planning adult and child-initiated activities. This in turn will help develop their abilities in relating to the internal and external environment. To help each child develop a self-concept, in coming to terms with their feelings while developing their self-esteem and confidence. To offer opportunities both planned and unplanned allowing all children to participate and enjoy first hand learning experience which promote communication skills, fine and gross motor skills, good learning habits and the development of different concepts.

Your roles and responsibilities will be to learn;

• Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
• Planning and delivering engaging activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observing and assessing children’s development and progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Building strong relationships with parents and caregivers, facilitating open communication about their child's development.
• Working collaboratively with your colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
• Ensuring compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices.

Requirements;

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent are desired

Hours; 

• Diamond Preschool are open from 08.30-15.30 Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
• The successful candidate will be required to work 30 - 32 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
