Are you a qualified Room Leader with a passion for making learning fun? We're looking for someone just like you to join our Bright Horizons family at our Highbury Day Nursery and Preschool.

Our nursery is proudly Ofsted rated 'Good' and is nestled in the exciting redevelopment of the old Highbury Stadium. Salary:

  • £29,845 - £33,000 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

What you’ll be doing

· Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education

· Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas

· Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones

· Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child

· Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding

· Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment

What we’re looking for:

  • Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Early Years Practitioner, or similar)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
