Nursery Deputy Manager

We are currently in search of a committed and enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to become part of our dynamic team at The Green Cave Day Nursery, located in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. In the capacity of Deputy Nursery Manager, you will have a pivotal role in aiding the Nursery Manager with the daily operations, ensuring that we provide a secure, engaging, and nurturing setting for our children.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the Nursery Manager in all aspects of nursery management, including the supervision, training, and development of staff.

• Aid in providing outstanding early years education and care, in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both children and staff.

• Cultivate positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, promoting a strong sense of community and teamwork.

• Act as the designated safeguarding lead, ensuring the effective implementation of child protection policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or above.

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a nursery or early years setting.

• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development principles.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with children.
