Early Years Team Leader Level 3 - Apple Tree Day Nursery

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to complete an Early Years Team Leader Level 3 Apprenticeship at Apple Tree Day Nursery as a Room Leader for their baby room

Responsibilities:

• This position was initially for maternity cover, but if both parties are happy, a permanent role will be available as we are expanding the nursery building to increase capacity.
• We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced individuals who can bring a positive, forward-thinking attitude to Apple Tree.
• As a key person and room leader for our 0-2s, you will play a vital role in their development
• The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children aged 0-5.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, helping children develop and thrive. We are looking for someone who is full of ideas, reliable, and a great team player
• Follow the EYFS
• Working with the team activities observation
• Tracking milestones
• All aspects of personal care
• They will be delegating as well as being hands on
• Looking after a team of 2 as they expand there this will gro
• Use Iconnect – Making sure they upload observations ad track milestones
• Keeping the next steps board up to date
• Supporting at mealtimes
• Nappy changing
• Liaising with the parents

Requirements;

• Level 3 Childcare Qualification is required when applying for this role 
• Experience in a similar role
• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent

Apple Tree Day Nursery is open 07.30am - 18.00 pm Monday - Friday
