Nursery Room Leader

We are seeking an enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team in Barnes. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of your assigned room, ensuring that children’s needs are met, and their learning and development are supported. This is a great opportunity for an experienced practitioner to take on a leadership role and make a positive impact on young children’s education.

📍 Location: Barnes
💼 Hours: 40 hours per week
💰 Salary: £30,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of practitioners.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver activities that support children’s development in line with EYFS.
• Monitor children’s progress and provide feedback to parents and carers.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in the room.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and the wider team.
• Encourage and support children’s independence and social skills development.

Skills & Experience:

1. Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
2. Proven experience as a Room Leader in a nursery or early years setting.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
4. Passionate about child development and education.
