Nursery Room Leader

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our team in Mortlake. As a Room Leader, you’ll be responsible for leading and managing the Under 2’s room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children. You will work closely with other team members to plan and deliver high-quality early years education and care that promotes the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of children.

🔹 Room Leader (Under 2’s)
📍 Location: Mortlake
💼 Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
💰 Salary: £30,000+ per annum (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of practitioners in the Under 2’s room.
• Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Monitor and track children’s progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and carers regarding their child’s development.
• Ensure the room is a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment.
• Lead by example, providing guidance, support, and training for the team.

Skills & Experience:

• A Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with children under 2 years old in a nursery setting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A genuine passion for working with young children.
