Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Mini Munchkins Day Nursery

Mini Munchkins Day Nursery is a flexible, affordable, fun Early Years provision set in a great location at Corfe Mullen Recreation Ground.

We cater for children aged 18 Months - 12 Years and open 8am till 6pm 39 weeks a year (excluding Bank Holidays).

We offer before and after school care with a pick up and drop off service to and from local schools. We can also offer childcare on school inset days (subject to availability).

We enjoy going on daily learning walks giving children the opportunity to explore our surroundings.

Children have free flow access to our secure outdoor area.

At Mini Munchkins we have a wide variety of toys and activities to develop childrens communication and language skills, creative and writing skills and physical development etc.

Alongside this we have introduced the Curiosity Approach allowing childrens natural curiosity and creativity.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
• Planning and delivering engaging activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observing and assessing children’s development and progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Building strong relationships with parents and caregivers, facilitating open communication about their child's development.
• Working collaboratively with your colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
• Ensuring compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices
• Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.

Hours;

•  Mini Munchkins Day Nursery is Term Time Only and is open from 08.00am - 18:00pm Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 25 hours per week and working shift patterns will be discussed

Requirements;

• Experience in a nursery setting would be beneficial
• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
