Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship – Dolphins Day Nursery

The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at Dolphins Day Nursery

Dolphins Day Nursery can take children from birth through to 5 years of age and have up to 54 childrens places

The nursery consists of 1 mixed room and a safe haven for babies 

Dolphins have a large car park at the front of the building which is used by parents when picking up and dropping off

Your roles and responsibilities;

• Work with team, learning the role of the nursery practitioner
• Shadowing key members of the team to learn all aspects of the rile until confident ad competent in working on own initiative
• Help set up learning environment
• Assist with the planning
• Communication with the children
• Housekeeping duties and clearing away
• Start signing with the children
• Taking children out for walks
• Updating the online journals for the children and keeping parents updated with progress
• Participate in story time, sing time and happy time

Requirements;

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent are desired

Hours; 

• Dolphins Day Nursery are open from 07.30-18:00 Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
