Nursery Lunch Cover - 11am - 2pm Monday to Friday, ALL YEAR ROUND
£11.44 - £12.25 per hour dependent upon if qualified

Are you a passionate and dedicated Lunchtime Nursery Practitioner?  If so, we would love you to join us and become part of our Hungry Caterpillar Family. Each day you’ll have the opportunity to bring fun, joy, smiles and laughter to the children whilst providing safe, high quality education, care and positive outcomes for each child. Whilst this position will primarily be to supervise the children and support the team during the lunch period, it is the nature of working in a nursery that tasks and responsibilities are on occasion unpredictable and varied, so you’ll to be flexible and undertake reasonable duties as necessary.

Working at our Chalfont St Peter Nursery:

Our nursery in Chalfont St Peter is situated in the hear of the village, located in a newly renovated building.  The nursery has been designed especially to provide beautiful rooms, fantastic resources and exciting gardens, ensuring our children flourish and leavy fully prepared for their adventure ahead.

Capacity: 70 place nursery (3 months to 4 years)

1 x Baby Room (0-2 years x 18 places), 1 x Toddler Room (2-3 years x 24 places), 1 x Pre-school (3-4 years x 28 places)

Opening Times: 7.30am - 6.30pm

Experience / Qualifications - What you will bring to the role:

Essential criteria

• Current Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience of working with young children.
• Good communication skills.
• Commitment to equal opportunities

• Friendly and flexible approach at work which facilitates the development of effective relationships.

Desirable criteria

• Current first aid certificate
• Relevant child care qualification

Key Information:

• Standard working hours are 15 hrs per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday, 11:00-14:00
• Flexible options include: additional hours can be picked up as and when required
