About Daisy Fays Nursery

Why Daisy Fays?

At Daisy Fays, we’re not just a workplace – we are a family. Founded by parents for parents, our journey began with a mission to provide the high-quality childcare we wanted for our own children. Over the years, we’ve grown into a trusted childcare provider across Cornwall, offering truly unique settings where children are inspired to explore, learn and thrive.

As a family-run business, we bring heart, passion and warmth to every aspect of our nurseries. Our farm-inspired settings and innovative approach make Daisy Fays a magical place for children and a fulfilling workplace for our team.

At Daisy Fays, you’ll be part of a supportive team that values your contributions and empowers you to grow. Whether it’s through professional development opportunities or celebrating success together, we’re here to ensure your journey with us is as rewarding as the care we provide.

If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real difference, while being supported every step of the way, Daisy Fays is the place for you.

Our mission is to nurture young minds, encourage curiosity and build strong foundations for lifelong learning.

  • Summer and winter social events, to reward your dedication and commitment.
  • Employee reward scheme, to reward your loyalty and years of service.

Your Role: What will you be doing?

As a minimum Early Years Practitioner Level 3, you’ll be generating experiences that support every child’s unique journey of growth and discovery. Your role will include:

  • Planning, creating and reflecting on engaging activities tailored to the individual needs of your key children, ensuring their development is enriched and key milestones are celebrated.
  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships with parents and carers, keeping them involved in their child’s progress and fostering open, trust-based communication.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, child welfare, protection and health and safety are met in every activity and interaction.
  • Collaborating with your team to create a positive, happy and safe environment where children feel secure, valued, and inspired to learn.
  • Bringing your creativity, energy and passion to every day, making learning a joyful adventure for the children.

  • A passion for creating fun, engaging, and appropriate learning experiences.
  • Strong communication skills to build trust and meaningful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, child protection and early years legislation and health and safety.
