Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship - Mother Hen Nursery

Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Mother Hen Nursery.

Based in Horley, Mother Hen Nursery  is a day nursery that believes in supporting the growth and development of each child as a unique individual. We believe in providing a nurturing, safe, and inclusive environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning

We have two rooms and plenty of outdoor space for our children aged 0 - 5 years. 

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Assist in creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for young children.
• Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development.
• Supervise children during play, meal, and rest times, always ensuring their well-being.
• Work alongside staff to support children’s social, emotional, and physical needs.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic setting following health and safety guidelines.
• Observe and record children’s progress, reporting to supervisors as required.
• Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents, fostering positive relationships.

Requirements;

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent 
• Experience of working in a childcare setting is desired 

Hours;

• The nursery runs all year round and is open from 08.00am - 18:00pm Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work a minimun of 25 hours per week
