Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship – Storybook Montessori

The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Storybook Montessori, Ascot

The Storybook Montessori is located in the grounds of the Crown Estate with fantastic view of Ascot race course. The nursery and preschool are divided into distinct learning areas; from the Art Studio, Diner to the Town Hall and Library, the Village Green and Outdoor Classroom, each area has a distinct feel and learning purpose

Your roles and responsibilities will include;

•  Assist in creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for young children.
• Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development.
• Supervise children during play, meal, and rest times, always ensuring their well-being.
• Work alongside staff to support children’s social, emotional, and physical needs.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic setting following health and safety guidelines.
• Observe and record children’s progress, reporting to supervisors as required.
• Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents, fostering positive relationships.

Requirements;

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent are desired

Hours; 

• Storybook Montessori are open from 08.00-17:00 Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
