Nursery Lunch Cover 

Salary from £11.44-  per Hour depending on qulification 

Hours 20 hours Monday to Friday 

The Clapham Day Nursery & Pre-School  we are looking for an Nursery Lunch Cover to join our team. Our aim is to provide a happy, home away from home environment for all children in our care at all times.

This role is 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday, helping to support covering staff lunches and support the staff with the children within the room of the babies and toddlers , creating fun activities , putting the children to sleep or having a nice relaxing and fun story.

As an Lunch Cover, you will: 

• Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times.
• Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff: child ratios.
• Ensure children are supervised and attended to at all times, maintaining appropriate staff: child ratios.
• Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.
