The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at Charlie Bears Childcare, Cheltenham

Charlie Bears Childcare is a  nursery in the heart of Charlton Kings offering childcare to children aged birth to 3 years. Here at Charlie Bears, we provide space where babies and toddlers are able to explore freely and confidently. In the first years of a child’s life, the prime areas are, physical, communication and language and Personal social and emotional.

Your roles and responsibilities will include;

• Assist in creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for young children.
• Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development.
• Supervise children during play, meal, and rest times, always ensuring their well-being.
• Work alongside staff to support children’s social, emotional, and physical needs.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic setting following health and safety guidelines.
• Observe and record children’s progress, reporting to supervisors as required.
• Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents, fostering positive relationships.

Requirements;

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent are desired

Hours; 

• Charlie Bears are open from 08.00-18:00 Monday to Friday, term time only
• The successful candidate will be required to work between 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
