This position is ideal for qualified Nursery Practitioners, Nursery Nurses, and Early Years Educators with experience in leading a small team.
Katey's Nursery & Pre-School is committed to the safeguarding of children, therefore all appointments are subject to receiving an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), as well as appropriate references and undertaking a Paediatric first aid training (provided by the company). Our commitment to safer recruitment practices is reinforced by our adherence to key legislation designed to protect vulnerable individuals.
At Katey’s Nursery & Pre-School, we offer a fun, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children up to the age of 5. Our primary focus is ensuring that your child is happy while developing their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social skills, all under the care of our dedicated professional team.
We follow a carefully designed curriculum with adaptive learning, tailored to meet each child's individual needs, which covers the seven areas of learning outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage, the national framework for early education. Our activities are planned around the children's interests and are organised around specific themes and topics throughout the year. We regularly evaluate the effectiveness of our plans and monitor each child's progress.
In addition to our indoor activities, we offer opportunities for children to engage in outdoor learning. We believe that children thrive when immersed in nature and real-world environments, where hands-on experiences enhance their development.
