Nursery Room Leader

Colourbox Montessori School in Newmarekt are currently recruiting for an outstanding qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our nursery in our 2-3 year old room as Room Leader. 

This role is a full-time position where your main duties will be nurturing and caring for the development of children in your room, mentoring a dream team of practitioners and apprentices, and working within the company ethos to deliver outstanding care and education to this early preschool age group. Duties:

• Having a key group of children, observing, and recording their development.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
• Building positive and successful relationships with colleagues, children, and parents.

Requirements of the role:

• Living and working in the UK with full rights to do so.
• A Full and Relevant Level 3+ Childcare qualification or willing to take on one.
• An enhanced DBS check (we will apply for this).
• Knowledge of Safeguarding and EYFS.
• First aid, Basic food hygiene and safeguard training desirable, but training is provided.
• Previous experience in early years desirable, but not essential.
