Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 3 - Little Firs Day Nursery

The Aspire Training Team are seeking a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual as an apprentice to complete their Level 3 Childcare qualification with Little Firs Day Nursery. 

At Little Firs Day Nursery we have a nestlings room for children aged 9 months-2 years which is light and spacious. The discoverers room is for children 2-3 years and is well equipped for up to 15 children. The preschool room is made up of two rooms and children from 3-4 years can access both rooms. We also have an after school club  and holiday club for children from the ages of 5 - 11 years

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Assist in creating a safe nurturing environment for children.
• Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians and sharing information about children’s development and well-being.
• Observe and assess children’s development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans.
• Support children’s personal care needs.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming pre-school.
• Collaborate nursery team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoors.
• Attending staff meetings

Requirements;

• Level 2 childcare qualification is required
• You must be able to gain a clear DBS,
• Having GCSE's A*-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e functional skills are desired but not essential

Hours;

• The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
• Little Firs Day Nursery is open from 07:30-18:00
