Please note, this is a field-based role based across our 4 nurseries in PE2 7BU, PE1 4DG, LE5 1TT and NG2 7PP. Working hours are negotiable at interview and can be flexible for the right candidate.

As a key member of the Apricot Nursery Group, you will play a crucial role in shaping and driving our digital marketing efforts. This dynamic position involves a wide range of responsibilities, from developing and implementing social campaigns to advertising, analysing results, and collaborating with agencies to enhance our brand positioning. While experience in Early Years/Care is a plus, we value your experience, attitude, and skills above all.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the nursery group's overall marketing goals.
  • Create and curate engaging content, including text posts, images, and videos, for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyze social media metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the nursery staff to gather content ideas and ensure consistency in messaging.

Website Management:

  • Update and maintain the nursery group's website content, including news, events, and information about the services offered.
  • Optimize the website for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and attract organic traffic.
  • Ensure the website is user-friendly and visually appealing.

Marketing:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the nursery group and attract new enrollments.
  • Create marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and email newsletters.
  • Manage the nursery group's email marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with local community organizations to build relationships and promote the nursery.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and content creation tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
