Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 3 - Stonecroft Day Nursery and Preschool

The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Stonecroft Day Nursery and Preschool

Our aim at Stonecroft is to provide a high standard of quality care for your child. A place where parents can leave their children, knowing they will be safe and well cared for in a warm and friendly atmosphere until they return.

At Stonecroft we believe each child should develop at their own pace. With varied environments children have the chance to explore their surroundings freely. Each child is assigned a key person and with regular observations and assessments each child is given the experiences they need to help them develop.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Required to work in 3 separate rooms
• Helping and supporting the children with self-help skills
• Planning activities
• To ensure the appropriate care given to child
• Light household duties
• Personal care and Toileting
• Supporting with food preparation and helping at mealtimes

Requirements;

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• Level 2 Childcare Qualification is desired
• Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent

Qualities Required;

• A good team player, with good communication skills as will be engaging with parents

Hours; 

• Stonecroft Day Nursery and Preschool is open from 07:30-18:00 Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work between 30-40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
