The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Hound Owls Pre-School

Hound Owls Pre-School are dedicated at providing high quality childcare, with a friendly, family feel. They engage with parents to build good relationships from day one and follow the Early years foundation curriculum which covers the 7 areas of learning. Their team are committed to an active learning environment so that all children are able to follow their interests; by engaging in activities of their choosing so they will enjoy it and it will also be meaningful and pleasurable

They have a wonderful woodland around them and endeavour to take the children out into the woods once the children have settled into preschool.

Your roles and responsibilities will include;

• Assist in creating a safe nurturing environment for children.
• Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians and sharing information about children’s development and well-being.
• Observe and assess children’s development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans.
• Support children’s personal care needs.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming pre-school.
• Collaborate with pre-school team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoors.
• Attending staff meetings

Requirements;

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent

Hours; 

• Hound Owls is open from 08:00 -16:00 Monday to Friday - Term Time Only
• The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
