We are currently recruiting a skilled and experienced Room Manager to run our stunning baby room at our Lee nursery which offers state-of-the-art facilities, combining bright and spacious indoor rooms along with fabulous outdoor areas. The nursery has 134 child places across 6 playrooms.
Your basic salary will be up to £29,500 per annum working Full time, 4 days a week (40 hours per week) or 5 days if preferred. You will also receive a welcome bonus of £1000!
To be considered for the Nursery Room Manager role you must have:
• At least 1 years' experience in a Nursery Room Manager role or equivalent
• Good experience working with babies within a nursery setting
• Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years childcare
• Excellent knowledge & understanding of the EYFS & Statutory framework
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to use your own initiative
• Your passion to be shown in your day-to-day interaction with children
• Coaching & mentoring abilities
Things you need to know -
• This position Nursery nurse / Nursery Room Manager is subject to an Enhanced DBS Certificate and satisfactory employment references.
• The successful candidate will be required to undertake online safeguarding training and all positions are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
