Area Manager, South & West London Region
Location: Field based role in South West London
Salary : £45,000 per annum

Why This Role Matters:
Joining our Operational Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in managing a group of nurseries across London. Your focus will be on maintaining exemplary standards of safety, care, and education, thereby driving our growth and upholding our commitment to quality, compliance, and financial robustness.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supervising operations and management of several nurseries within the South West London area.
- Leading, guiding, and supporting nursery managers and their teams.
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, achieving financial goals, and maintaining quality benchmarks.
- Championing excellence in early childhood education and prioritizing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Operational Management: Lead and manage nurseries to guarantee quality care and financial viability.
- Early Childhood & Quality Excellence: Uphold high standards, secure "Ofsted – Good" or higher ratings, and implement progressive improvement strategies.
- Regulation, Compliance, Health, Safety, and Welfare: Maintain compliance with policies and high safety standards.
- People, Resource, and Relationship Management: Promote a culture that values people, nurture staff development, and build positive stakeholder relationships.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, maximizing revenue, and controlling expenses.

- Teams of well-supported, skilled staff with low turnover.
- Nurseries performing at high levels with "Good" or better Ofsted ratings.
- Full compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
- Nurseries that are clean, high-quality, and offer inspiring learning environments.
- Meeting or exceeding targets for occupancy rates and cost efficiency.
What It Takes:
- A minimum of Level 3 Qualification in Children and Education (Degree in Early Childcare preferred).
- Extensive senior management experience in a multi-setting childcare context.
- Demonstrated ability in staff leadership, service planning, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Strong commercial awareness and exemplary leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant industry software.
