Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship – The Meadows - Cheeky Chimps Childcare 

The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at The Meadows - Cheeky Chimps Childcare.

The Meadows nursery is based in Stratton, Swindon, at Kingsdown Sports Centre and has been established since 2014. 

Over the years we have built a home from home environment to enable the children to feel comfortable and safe to explore and learn through play. 

Your roles and responsibilities will include;

• Assist in creating a safe nurturing environment for children
• Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive
• Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians and sharing information about children’s development and well-being
• Observe and assess children’s development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans
• Support children’s personal care needs, including feeding, changing and promoting independence
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming nursery
• Collaborate with nursery team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoors
• Attending staff meetings

Requirements;

• Level 2 Childcare Qualification is desired 
• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent are desired

Hours; 

• The Meadows - Cheeky Chimps Childcare are open from 07:30-18:00 Monday to Friday, all year round
• The successful candidate will be required to work between 30-40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
