The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable, friendly and enthusiastic individual to join Rozey Days Montessori as a level 3 Apprentice at their Kingswood setting.
Rozey Days Montessori in Bristol is a small private nursery offering a child led and holistic approach to education in a Montessori based environment.
Our building both looks and operates as a home environment. This is entirely intentional and allows children to make themselves members of the Rozey Days community. We pride ourselves on our homely feel and the children take pride in the maintenance of their environment.
With a carefully selected layout and free flow throughout the building, children’s learning is self-directed. Our rooms are carefully prepared to stimulate a child’s independence and intellectual development.
Our commitment is to continue to offer authentic Montessori education and high quality of care to the children and their families in our carefully prepared environment. Outside space is an integral part of our building and is used to complement our philosophy of freedom of movement.
As part of your role as a Level 3 Apprentice, your duties will include;
- Looking after the health and welfare of the children
- To support with all aspects of personal care; Montessori focus on teaching independence, this including their hygiene routine
- Montessori ethos and planning exciting tasks
- Safeguarding; including child protection, keeping children safe
- Communicating with parents
- Using online observation system online
- Be a Key Person
- Assisting with lunch routines
- Attending staff meetings once a month
- Actively involved in creating the curriculum for the children
Hours;
- Rozey Days Montessori is open all year round Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm
- The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
Requirements;
- A full and relevant Level 2 qualification in Childcare is desired or a high level of experience
- To obtain a clear DBS
- To have an understanding what Montessori is and how this is different to others
