Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 3

Level 3 Childcare Qualification - Wind in the Willows Preschool.

The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at Wind in the Willows Preschool. 

Wind in the Willows journey started in 2010 when Kerry Yeates the owner was given the opportunity of having her own provision. We started out in a community hall which in time we out grew, resulting in the building you see today. We are Family run and have over 40 years’ experience within Early years.

We are a family run business within the heart of Amesbury’s community. With over 40 years’ experience we offer the opportunities for all children to become individual learners within their environment.

Here at Wind in the Willows Preschool Ltd your experience matters.

Your roles and responsibilities will include;

• Working as part of a team 
• Supporting the children and taking care of all of their needs including all aspects of personal care
• Planning the day’s activities
• You would eventually develop into the role as a key person, responsible for children’s next steps, safeguarding requirements liaise with team leaders,  staff and senior team member for wellbeing of the children, liaise and feedback with them on daily basis  
• Undertaking regular supervisions,
• Supporting the running of the room

Requirements;

• You must hold a level 2 Childcare Qualification 
• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent are desired
• Flexibility to work in various rooms within the setting
• Must have a good understanding of the EYFS and be a good communicator as will be liaising with parents

Hours; 

• Wind in the Willows Preschool are open from 07:30-18:00 Monday to Friday, all year round
• The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
