Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship - Little Wildlings Nursery 

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to complete their Level 3 Early Years Childcare Apprenticeship at Little Wildlings Nursery.

A peaceful and rural village setting at the foot of the Quantock hills, nature and adventure is only a stone's throw away. Little Wildlings Nursery is a warm, homely and inviting nursery ensuring your little ones are provided with only the very best care.

Messy play, forest school, animal interactions, and free flow outdoor play are just some of the ways we meet the standards of Early Years Foundation Stage. We aim to work with you to imitate a home from home environment, whilst helping children develop and prepare for their time at school. With this in mind Little Wildlings Nursery are delighted to offer plenty of outdoor opportunities such as welly walks, forest school and animal experiences to support children through all the areas of the Early Years Foundation stage as they grow and develop as unique individuals.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Facilitate and actively engage children in outdoor learning experiences.
• Supervision of children
• Encourage curiosity of nature
• Participate in cohesive learning environment

Qualities Required;

• Experience working with families
• Comfortable working in forest school  

Hours;

• Little Wildlings Nursery is open all year round, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8am-6pm
• The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, across 4 days

Requirements;

• A full and relevant Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
• Willing to participate in outdoor learning time
