Nursery Practitioner Level 3 

Full Time 8-6pm

Salary -£29,000

40 hours a week - you choose 4 days 36 hours or the usual 5 days 40 hours (we want to be flexiable and have patterns that works around you) 

Rainbows Nursery are seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner - Level 3 to join their team.. Our current team of Nursery Practitioners provide experiences that enhance our curriculum and our parents love the truly inspirational quality of the social and physical environment. Come and join us on our exciting journey of transitioning our term time only preschool into a full time nursery.

Rainbow Nursery has an extensive garden that allows the nursery to develop their outdoor ethos, enjoying the seasons and being outside in all weathers. It has a fire pit where the children learn to build fire and cook together outdoors. We encourage age-appropriate risk taking.

Cooking is a big part of the nursery curriculum, allowing the children to develop skills in cooking, tasting food and at times cooking food that we have grown in the garden.

main responsibilities include:

  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
  • Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
  • Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routine
  • Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families
  • Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures

requirements and skills:

  • Full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification - essential
  • Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
  • Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
