Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 3 - Creekmoor Day Nursery

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Creekmoor Day Nursery as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.

To support our inclusive community, and provide a personal approach, tailoring learning methods to each child's needs. Our main focus is to provide your child with the skills they need before heading off to school, whilst in a friendly and fun environment. 

We pride ourselves on treating each child differently, and ensuring that any special requirements are met and we promise to work alongside you every step of the way. It takes a village to raise the next generation, and we would love to be part of yours! 

Your roles and responsibilities will include;

• Assisting the key person with the day to day routine, caring for children under the age of 2 years of age, setting up and planning activities, assist with days out and chaperoning , all aspects of personal care, including nappy changing and toileting.
• Assisting at mealtimes.
• Liaising with the parents, and updating the children’s records.
• Keeping the children safe and secure at all times. 
• Teaching through of a mixture of free play and curriculum led activities.

Hours;

• Creekmoor Day Nursery are open between the hours of 08:00-18.00 Monday-Friday 
• Working hours will be between 40 hours per week

Requirements;

• Level 2 Early Years Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role 
• GCSE’s A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills
• Must be able to obtain clear DBS
