Job Description

Nursery Senior Administrator

This job would be suitable for someone with experience working independently and responsibly in a professional environment. They will be familiar with using excel, confident with basic  maths, with a good attention to detail. The ideal candidate with have had experience working in a nursery but this is not essential. 

Hours 15 - 18 over 3 days or 2 days spread out throughout the week, (e.g. Mon & Thurs) 

Salary  £14.42 – 16.83

Responsible to – Director of Finance 

Nursery Admissions - 20 hours per month

  • Tracking availability at the settings and liaising with managers
  • Initial contact communications, discussing availability with parents   
  • Handing over to the manager for showround
  • Offering places to parents, and following up. 
  • Sending out contracts and following up

Initial Funding support

  • Managing waiting lists at the settings

Occupancy Administrator – 3 hours per month

  • Recording Occupancy  

Staff Forward Planning – 3 hours per month

  • Calculating and recording future available staffing session 

Funding Administration  - 24 hours per month

  • Inputting new children on to OCC funding system 
  • Liaise with OCC over funding changing
  • Ensuring all children’s funding status’s are known. 
  • Managing funding forms

EyMan data champion  - 10 hours per month

  • Making sure Staff holidays, Rotas, notes, contacts, Staff and Child schedules, Apprentices’ data is correct.
  • Supporting other members of the team to manage correct data

Any other projects

  • Supporting other members of the team
