Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – The Nest Day Nursery

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join The Nest Day Nursery as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice

Our nursery is small enough to maintain high standards whilst striving to give the best possible child care. We aim to care and nurture each individual child, recognising that each child has their own gifts using a child-led approach.

We focus on magical moments where we have an ethos of inclusivity and awareness of different views, faiths and cultures which are valued and explored.

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team at a fantastic setting.

Your roles and responsibilities will include;

• Assist in creating a safe nurturing environment for children
• Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive
• Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians and sharing information about children’s development and well-being
• Observe and assess children’s development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans
• Support children’s personal care needs
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming nursery
• Collaborate with nursery team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoors
• Attending staff meetings

Requirements;

• You must be able to obtain a clear DBS
• GCSE’s A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills

Hours;

• The Nest Day Nursery are open between 8:00-18:30, Monday to Friday 
• You will be required to work 38 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
