Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Finkley Down Farm Nursery and Preschool

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Finkley Down Farm Nursery and Preschool as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.

Established in 2017, Finkley Nursery & Preschool is a unique childcare facility in the heart of Andover. We are passionate about providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children aged 2-5 years to learn and discover through hands-on experience and play.
Opened by outstanding childcare professional Alison Dennis, we combine the award-winning Finkley Down Farm attraction with exceptional childcare. Allowing for a rich, hands-on learning experience in which both formal and informal education can flourish.

Our nursery has been purposefully designed around every aspect of a child’s development, with large outdoor areas, sensory areas, hard standings, vegetable plots, mud kitchens and so much more. Indoors we have done away with conventional rooms so that everyone can play together, with a free-flow environment and a wide range of activities for the children to enjoy.

Your roles and responsibilities will include;

• We are looking for a person who like us is passionate about providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children. Our Nursery Practitioners really are valued members of our team and are expected to support the education and progress of all the children attending our nursery.

Hours;

• Finkley Down Farm Nursery and Pre School are open between the hours of 08:00-18:00
• Working hours will be 38 hours per week, across 4 days

Requirements;

• Level 2 Early Years Childcare Qualification is required when applying for this role 
• GCSE’s A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills
• Must be able to obtain clear DBS
