What does the role involve?

As a leadership position, the role of Nursery Deputy Manager is a satisfying combination of management responsibility and hands-on care. Your week will be over four days with two days working with the children in the room. For the right person, it can be a fantastic career development stepping stone, while still allowing you to enjoy all the things you love about working closely with children in the early years.

What qualifications are we looking for?

To become our Deputy Nursery Manager, you must hold, as a minimum, a Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent. You must have previous experience of managing a room or team in a nursery and have a strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent 

Pay: £28,392.00-£30,420.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (four days a week, 39 hours per week)

Education:

  • Diploma of Higher Education (required)

Experience:

  • Nursery experience: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Early Years qualification (required)
