Deputy Nursery Manager (Level 3+) - up to  £31,200 + £500 New Starter Bonus*

Standard working hours are 40 hrs per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday, around the current shift system.  All Year Round.

Our Nursery in West Twyford is set within West Twyford Children's Centre, which is also in the grounds of a busy primary school.  We offer a fantastic environment inspired by the `Curiosity Approach and the Natural World` with the aim of fostering a love of the outdoors in our children.  We have a fabulous staff team that ensure children flourish and leave fully prepared for their adventure ahead.

Capacity: 40 place Nursery (3 months to 5 years)

Rooms:  1 x Baby Room (0-2 years x 16 places), 1 x Toddler Room (2-3 years x 8 places), 1 x Pre-school (3-4 years x 16 places)

Opening times: 7.30am to 6.30pm

Experience / Qualifications - What you will bring to the role:

• Full & Relevant Early Years Qualification (Level 3 or above)
• English and Maths GCSE Grade C/4 or Functional Skills Level 2
• Previous experience of working at Deputy Manager or Room Leader level within a nursery
• Previous experience of shaping little lives & positively impacting families
• Great communication skills, including the ability to understand babble
• A sense of humour which allows you to see the silver lining of every situation and have fun each and every day.
• A team player with the ability to be flexible to the needs of the children and the team.
• A passion for a play based approach to children’s learning and development
• Commitment – even to reach the end of that story that has been interrupted 5 times
• Patience & passion, enabling you to build effective & lasting relationships that will reward you with love, pride & a sense of achievement you won’t find in other roles!
