Early Years Practitioner

40 hours per week

Salary £26,499.20 per annum depending on qualifications and experience

Full and Relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification

* Please note this nursery is open all year round and is not a term time only role.

We are an Ofsted rated Good nursery and have big open space rooms alongside a roof top garden for the under 2’s. We follow the curiosity approach and in our main garden we have a growing area as well as a mud kitchen and cosy area. We have street parking available and transport links to the nursery.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.
  • Follow risk assessments diligently and report all health and safety matters to management.
  • Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
  • Implement positive partnerships with parents/carers thorough handover on daily collection and encourage their involvement in the nursery.

For the role of Early Years Practitioner, we would require you to have a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification. Have sound knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements and have experience of working within Early Years.
