We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Manager to join and lead our small friendly team in Pulborough.
As Nursery Manager, you will serve as the designated person in charge of our nursery, overseeing all operational and regulatory aspects, with the support of a business manager. You will lead the team in setting and achieving shared goals, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and education to children and their families daily, aligned with the EYFS framework.
Your role entails effective leadership of the nursery team, providing training, coaching, and mentoring to enhance performance. You will uphold safeguarding, health, safety practices, and child protection responsibilities daily.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education.
- Oversee the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children and staff.
- Achieve and maintain a 'Good' or higher rating from Ofsted.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external agencies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a nursery setting.
- Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification.
- SENCO qualification preferred.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Deep understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and education.
