Job Description

Nursery Room Leader:

We have a great opportunity for you to join us at Childcare 4 U Beaconsfield in the role of a Room Leader. This role is full time 40/45 hours week; therefore, you will work a variety of shifts between the hours of 07:30-18:30, Monday-Friday, all-year-round. If you are creative, enthusiastic and have a passion for teaching and developing little minds our Room Leader opportunity would be perfect for you.

This role comes with a pay rate from: £23,920-£27,144 annum depending on experience and qualification.

  • 20 days of annual leave to start (pro rata for part time roles), which increases with length of service.

Essential Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Childcare Qualifications: level 3 or above.
  • Experience of working with in a team.
  • Experience of providing customer service.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Awareness of the Ofsted inspection framework.


Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience of working in a similar role.
  • Full and relevant Early years qualification.
  • Full understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS.
  • Experience of managing of Cohort of key children.
  • leading a small staff team, carrying out 1:1s.
  • overseeing the rooms planning, observations and record keeping. You will have own key group of children.
  • Being responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment in your room.
  • Ensuring the nursery policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Building positive and successful relationships with parents, children, and colleagues.
