Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship – Epiphany Pre School (Term Time Only)

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Epiphany Pre School, Bournemouth.

Our nursery is a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where every child is valued as a unique individual. We place children at the heart of everything we do, recognising that they learn best through play, exploration, and positive relationships.

We provide a rich, stimulating setting that supports children’s curiosity, creativity, and independence. Through child-led and adult-supported activities, children are encouraged to make choices, develop confidence, and follow their own interests at their own pace.

Our experienced and caring practitioners build strong, secure relationships with children and families, ensuring each child feels happy, supported, and confident. We work in partnership with parents and carers to meet each child’s individual needs and to support their learning and development.

We promote inclusion, respect, and equality, celebrating diversity and helping children develop kindness, resilience, and a sense of belonging. By creating a positive and enabling environment, we support children to grow into confident, capable learners who are ready for their next steps.

We are a pack away setting and have 1 big room. We care for children between the ages of 2 to 4 years, follow EYFS framework and do activities to lead to extended learning.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development.
• Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Display a caring and nurturing attitude towards the children in your care

Role responsibilities include:

• Act as designated key person for an allocated number of children.
• To observe, plan and assess children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework.
• Develop positive partnership with parents.

Requirements;

• A Level 2 Childcare qualification is essential

Hours;

• Epiphany Pre School is open from 8:30am - 3:45 Monday to Thursday and 8:00am – 3:45pm Friday (Term Time Only)
• The successful candidate will be required to work 35 hours per week
