Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship – Cut and Paste Childcare (Term Time Only)

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Cut and Paste Childcare, Hereford.

At Cut and Paste Childcare, we’re dedicated to providing a safe and fun learning environment for your children. We make sure there’s plenty for them to do, helping them to not only have a great time whilst they are with us, but to also learn new skills.

Our facilities and focused learning journeys enable us to develop and nurture children with any special educational needs, vulnerabilities or disabilities. We have strong and established relationships with external agencies that allow us to react quickly to ensure early intervention and rapid progress where necessary.

Lots of fun arts and crafts activities, water play and lots of outdoor garden time. We also work with inclusivity in mind and towards the EYFS

Cut and Paste Childcare care for children between the ages of 2 to 4 years.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
• Planning and delivering engaging activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observing and assessing children’s development and progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Building strong relationships with parents and caregivers, facilitating open communication about their child's development.
• Working collaboratively with your colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
• Ensuring compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices.
• Use initiative and eagerness to learn
• Commitment to complete apprenticeship
• Strong ability to understand and work towards Safeguarding policies and procedures.
• To have strong ability to understand all children are different in their own way and to be calm and compassionate when dealing with tricky situations or challenging behaviours.
• Engage fully with staff members and children and be a positive and friendly member of the team.

Requirements;

• A Level 2 Childcare qualification would be desirable
• A good understanding or at least basic knowledge of Safeguarding
• Paediatric First Aid Training would be desirable
• Be a kind and compassionate person
• Have at minimum a basic knowledge of SEND and be able to adapt to working with children with additional needs whilst also treating all children fairly
• Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or willing to work towards these 

Hours;

• Cut and Paste Childacare is open from 8:00am – 16:00pm Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
• The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week
